| This nicely done silver plate souvenir spoon measures approximately 5 7/8 inches in length and remains in excellent condition. It offers a nicely done high relief armed Infantryman at the grip and a depiction of the famous Civil War battlefield's Snodgrass House in it's bowl. The bowl is marked CHICKAMAUGA & CHATTANOOGA - MILITARY Nat. PARK with a depiction of a log home identified as the SNODGRASS HOUSE. The back of the spoon's handle is marked U. S. A.. A popular turn of the century souvenir widely collected by returning Civil War veterans and there families as they visited familiar Civil War sites.
